Nathan Davis has worked for Ohio RCAP for 13 years since 2009. Before his employment with RCAP, Nathan was a Community Development Director with the City of Waverly, OH, from 2000 to 2009. He also has prior experience as a program coordinator for the Ohio Valley Regional Development Commission.
Upon graduating from High School, Nathan served in the U.S. Air Force for five years, from 1989 to 1994, and graduated from Greenville High School in Texas, where he grew up. Nathan graduated from East Texas State University with a B.A. in Political Science in 1996.
Nathan currently resides just outside Waverly, OH, with his wife Kim of 26 years and his seven children, of whom he is very proud.

Track: TAP Skills: Regionalization
Title: Recent Regionalization Efforts: A Team Approach
Day/Time: Tuesday, 8/16 | 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm
Description: Regionalization is a challenging topic, and RCAP has built out a particular methodology, best practices, and set of values to help small systems be more sustainable and resilient through partnerships, big and small. The session, designed for newer TAPs and those with less experience with regionalization, will include an overview of how RCAP defines regionalization, hands-on sample activities that can be used with communities when implementing regional collaboration, case studies, lessons learned from the field, and the review of key tools and resources. Ohio RCAP team members will share their experience facilitating a bulk purchase agreement between neighboring communities. Highlights will include a description of the negotiation timeline, simple tactics to improve teamwork, pitfalls when aligning with SRF deadlines, and knowing your individual and collective role(s) as TA providers.

Title: Field Days 1 and 2
Day/Time: Wednesday, 8/17 | 9:30 am – 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Description: Field Day demonstrations, including the topics: water distribution, wastewater collection, and GIS.
