Bobby joined RCAP in 2021 and supports RCAP and its partners in advancing its strategy and vision to work with rural and tribal communities across the U.S. to elevate rural voices & build local capacity to improve quality of life, starting at the tap. Bobby is skilled in linking research, collaborative process, policy, and innovation that help non-profits and coalitions thrive.

Bobby has 15 years of experience running and starting non-profits at the intersections of water, health equity, and community development. He received his Ph.D./M.A. from Portland State University specializing in public policy and conflict resolution, and is a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Culture of Health Leader. Bobby enjoys growing berries and tomatillos with neighbors and wandering the mountains and rivers wherever he happens to be.
